Friday, stocks fell 0.5% in Asia but rose 0.8% in Europe and 0.5% in the U.S. on 17B shares traded. The VIX fell 7% to close at 15.31. Precious metals lost 1%. The Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 closed above 51,000, 27,000, and 7700 respectively.
