Stocks Advance Three Percent

Friday, stocks ended unchanged in Europe while advancing 0.8% in Asia and 0.6% in the U.S. on 9B shares traded. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield moved up 2% to end at 4.17. Precious metals ended the day down about 1%. Finally, the Federal Reserve balance sheet declined 18B to 8.12T.
