The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield lost 3% to close at 1.64. Precious metals dipped 1% and their miners declined about three times that amount. Wednesday, Asian stocks fell 2% while those in Europe closed unchanged. In the U.S., stocks fell 0.5% on 13B shares traded. Thursday, stocks in Asia fell 0.6% but in Europe ended unchanged again. Stocks gained 0.9% in the U.S. on 13B shares traded. Friday, stocks gained 1.2% in Asia, 0.9% in Europe, and 1.7% in the U.S. on 13B shares traded. The VXO fell 12% to close at 17.23. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield rose 3% to close at 1.66. Precious metals miners gained 2% while crypto currencies lost about 10%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 indices each ended the week with record closing highs.
