Friday, stocks lost 2.2% in Asia, 3.6% in Europe, and 1.0% in the U.S. on 13B shares traded. The VIX gained 5% to close at 31.98. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield fell 7% to close at 1.72. Precious metals gained 2% and their miners moved up about twice that amount.
