The VXO fell 5% to close at 27.79. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield moved up 6% to close at 0.70. Precious metals fell 1% and their miners fell 4 times that amount. IBM closed above its 120 benchmark.
Wednesday, stocks gained 0.4% in Asia, 0.3% in Europe, and 2% in the U.S. on massive volume. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield fell 3% to close at 0.68. The Dow Jones Industrials closed above its 25,000 benchmark, and the S&P closed above 3000.
Thursday, stocks rose 0.7% in Asia and 1.6% in Europe, but fell 0.3% in the U.S. on extremely high volume. The VXO moved up 7% to close at 28.79.
Friday, stocks fell 1.6% in Europe but were unchanged in Asia and the U.S. on massive volume. The VXO fell 5% to close at 27.24. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield fell 7% to close at 0.65. Precious metals and their miners fell 1%.
