Debt Ceiling Fears Pressure Stocks

Monday, stocks gained 0.8% in Asia and 1.4% in Europe but ended little changed in the U.S. on 9B shares traded. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield gained 2% to end at 3.52.

Tuesday, stocks moved down slightly in Asia and fell 0.3% in Europe and the U.S. on 9B shares traded.

Friday, stocks gained 0.5% in Europe but ended little changed in Asian and the U.S. on 9B shares traded. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield rose 2% to end at 3.46. Finally, the Federal Reserve balance sheet rose 1B to 8.50T.
