Thursday, stocks gained 0.7% in Asia, 0.9% in Europe, and 0.6% in the U.S. on moderate volume. The VXO fell 10 % to close at 12.01. Precious metals moved up 1%. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield fell 2% to close at 1.88. All four major indices logged record closing highs. They NYSE closed above the 14,000 benchmark. Apple closed above 300.
