Stocks Surge, Cryptos Soar

Monday, stocks gained 2.4% in Asia, 1.3% in Europe, and 1.4% in the U.S. on 16B shares traded. The VXO fell 13% to close at 27.21. Precious metals and their miners gained 4%.

Tuesday, stocks rose 1.1% in Asia, 1.3% in Europe, and 1.2% in the U.S. on 15B volume. The VXO fell 14% to close at 23.47. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield rose 3% to close at 1.10.

Wednesday, stocks gained 1.2% in Asia, 0.3% in Europe, and 0.5% in the U.S. on 14B volume. The 10-Year U.S. Treasury bond yield rose 2% to close at 1.13.

Thursday, stocks fell 0.4% in Asia but gained 0.6% in Europe and 0.9% in the U.S. on 14B volume. The VXO dropped 11% to close at 20.08. Precious metals lost 1% and their miners fell twice that amount. Both the NASDAQ and S&P 500 logged record closing highs.

Friday stocks rose 0.8% in Asia, were unchanged in Europe, and rose 0.6% in the U.S. on 14B share volume. Precious metals gained 1% and their miners move up twice that amount.

Investors continued to push stocks higher as the Fed and the administration moved in unison to pump more obscene liquidity into the monetary system. Cryptocurrencies reacted with a 20% jump higher for a single week.
