Crypto Losses Mount

Monday, stocks fell slightly in Europe but closed little changed in Asia and the U.S. on light volume. The VXO fell 5% to close below the 10 benchmark at 9.68. Tuesday, stocks gained 1% in Asia, 0.5% in Europe, and 0.3% in the U.S. on moderate volume.

As Illinois recently proved, real estate owners in states with high unfunded pension liabilities can basically be raped to make up the difference. By suddenly raising property taxes, they prevent sale of the property to flee the tax.

Wednesday. stocks gained 0.5% in Asia, fell slightly in Europe, and in the U.S. closed nearly unchanged on moderate volume. Crypto currencies had a bad day to bring the week decline in cryptos to greater than 10%. Thursday, stocks in Asia gained slightly, in Europe closed little changed, and in the U.S. fell slightly on moderate volume. Friday, stocks fell 1.1% in Asia and Europe and fell 0.9% in the U.S. on moderate volume. The VXO moved up 17% to 11.85.
